A Typical Colonel Stephens light
railway, small station/goods yard,
portrayed in O gauge
Originally built by Mike Haywood but
now owned and enhanced by Chris
Towers.
Despite being O Gauge, it uses OO
rail hand built onto copper clad sleepers
to portray its light railway nature.
The layout normally runs with a Southern theme
but may portray a much wider area and times.
Control is conventional with points and signals
being worked by solenoid motors.
Stock is a mix of kit built including Slaters,
Springside and proprietary from Dapol and Ixion
ready to run. Buildings are constructed from
foam board with various cladding materials
.
